VIDEO PRODUCTION CASE STUDY

Background

Platinum is an Australia-based investment manager. They are primarily a B2B company servicing financial advisors. They utilise video content to provide information to their clients and communicate financial trends and important market updates. AD Media is engaged as their external video production and live streaming event team.

The Challenge

Platinum are well versed in the use, benefit and effectiveness video offers as a communication medium.  The challenge for us was getting their team to work with our proven and time-tested process and taking on board our recommendations.

The videos also had to be concise, understandable to their adviser audience and, their investors and no longer than 3 – 4 minutes in length. The videos are placed on the website with cut-down versions used on their social media channels.

Solution

We have worked with Platinum for five years and we continue to create a range of videos that discuss investment opportunities across their portfolios.

In addition, in 2020 we began working with Platinum on their annual national Roadshow where we provided audiovisual content and creative design support.  When the Pandemic hit, we pivoted to creating online live-stream broadcast events reaching over 2000 people per year.

In 2021, we delivered their annual investor and Adviser roadshow in a live-stream format.  Three live-stream events were held and reached audiences in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

In 2023 Platinum went back to live events and we provided technical in-person and live-stream support.

Results

To date, we continue to successfully deliver on their ask for 3 to 4 videos per quarter.  Our services include planning, briefing, coordination, editing, and providing ongoing video knowledge to the team.

By using our time-proven preparation process, we have effectively reduced their on-camera time. This allow the team to get back to the business of investing.

We develop and fine-tune the video briefs, refine the message, and, ensure the team is comfortable with what is required for filming day.
