Branding
The branding concept for The White House is coastal, authentic, and calm. This has been inspired by the idea of disconnecting from busy city life, and unwinding in a unique getaway location.
Font:
Inspired by ‘The White House’ lettering on the front awning. Font personality is unique and sophisticated, but not overly luxurious or pretentious. Eye-catching for headings.
Colours:
Primary Colours: Two tones of blue create a simple, uniform, and calm feeling across the page. Reminiscent of the sea, the sky, and the colour of ‘The White House’. The dark blue is used as the text colour, and the light blue as a background.
Secondary Colour: A warm, soft sand colour to be used as a highlight.
Logo:
The logo is inspired by the charm and personality of The White House, and it’s recognisable text on the front awning. Two varitaions (A simple text only logo, as well as a detailed sketched version) allow the design to work within a range of formats.
Visual Language:
The supporting visual language ensures brand consistency, and embodies Bruny Island. These can be used as subtle watermarks, or on supporting material.
